President Gordon B. Hinckley made the statement that we need to cut down on the duplication of temple work. The LDS Church has been working hard to get new.familysearch.org up and running, but I hate to admit that I feel it falls short in a few areas. The main one being that it is vital to be able to quickly know that the ancestry that has been collected for ourselves is correct. The only way to do to that it is to be able to quickly glance at the original sources. Being able to view, in a matter of minutes, all of the documentation will free you, and others up to work on other ancestors or vertical lines. This blog is meant to make it easier for you to find your documentation as well as others. If you have "proof" that is not yet included (preferably a primary source) please send it on to be included on this blog. Happy HUNTing!

6. Edmund Gubler

Edmund was born 24 Feb 1894 in Santa Clara, Washington, Utah. He married Eliza Anna Hafen on 21 Oct 1914 in the St. George Temple, in St. George, Washington, Utah. Together they raised a family, and after Eliza passed away, Edmund married (2) Sarah Heaton (Porter) for time. He died 13 April 1986 and is buried in the Santa Clara City Cemetery.

Eliza was born 15 Jan 1897 in Bunkerville, Clark, Nevada. Her mother Anna Mary Elizabeth Huber was a plural wife of John George Hafen. 10. John Day

John Day was born 20 Aug 1860 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England and immigrated to the United States when just a child. He left home as a very young man and ended up in Hamblin, Washington, Utah. He married a widow Lucy Philena Canfield on 5 Nov 1888 in Hamblin. His wife died young, leaving a large family including step children, which he raised. He later married Sarah Bell Tait. He died 9 April 1930 and is buried next to Sarah in the Enterprise, Washington, Utah City Cemetery.
